I just found out about this Trade Show and Educational Event....

I am very excited about it and Look forward to taking Nona Powers seminar on FACTS, and Lois & Roger Baubi's seminar on "all about acrylic Glazing."

And after events that happened with a sales representative yesterday, I am seriously thinking about taking the "Developing your own competitive edge by Rob Markoff."

I enjoy reading about grumblers outside of the Grumble forum. Bravo! for being so active!

I'm hlad to hear that you are excited about the show, Peavy. I'd like to know how ypu heard about it. It would help the Three Stars Committee to know who to reach framers in the future. I hope to meet you there. Maybe we need to have a Grumbler's ribbon or something so we can recognize each other. If you are anyone else needs registration forms or other info, email me and I'll get it to you. For those who have already emailed me, hang in there, more info will be on the way soon.

Thanks for posting that link, Wendy. Last time I posted that link there was nothing there about Three Stars. So, instead of emailing me, go to the link Wendy posted and see all the info that is available.

Jo,

An Ex-Framer forwared his brochure to me that he recieved in the mail.

He doesnt need the information anymore, but thought that I would. AND I DID!!!

The Ribbon idea is a good one. We would be able to identify each other and others would ask about the ribbon, then we would have to tell them about the Grumble.

I think I have been past your establishment before? Where is your frame shop located in Ft. Worth. Last year, I went to the Annual Gallery Walk, and I parked right in front of this really great looking frame shop ( but they were closed so that that they could go to the gallery walk according to the sign on the window). I would have gone in and introduced myself.

OH, Well! The Gallery Walk in Fort Worth is Awesome isnt it?

Peavy

Peavy, I'm sorry I didn't respond to this before now, I just missed it. You did indeed park in front of the shop where I work, Marty and Pat's Frame Shoppe on Camp Bowie. There are some wonderful galeries here, many along Camp Bowie and too many to see in one evening.

For those who sent me your addresses so we could send you brochures, they went out yesterday. I would go to the link above, just to be safe, and check out the info in case you don't get yours in the mail. It's best to register for classes early as they fill up. There are about 60 vendors now and all of them are not on the website yet.

We Grumblers could each make our own ribbons and have a contest for the best. We could do a poll here on the G the week after to see who the winner is. The prize could be a free subscription to the G. I had totally forgotten about ribbons, Peavy, I'm glad you brought it up again.

Warning!

I was told that all the info was on the website, but it isn't.

There is no time/fee sechedule for education and there is no registration for framers.

If you don't receive your brochure within a week, please email me right away.

Wendy, send me your address if you haven't received a brochure.

Hi jframe,

check your email for a note from us!

Thanks Jo, I recieved the information about the trade show. Thanks for sending it to me.
See you there,
Wendy
