The blades I took off were UltraMitre 12", carbide 100T. They have done a good job, but they are worn, and one of them has three teeth missing. I guess they are still worth the cost of repair/resharpening, but I'm not sure. I'll send them to you tomorrow, and ask that you let me know your opinion.

It looks like you've earned a few new customers here, so your excellent resharpening offer might pay off for you in the long run, eh?
 
Thanks Jim, I'll take a close look at your blades when we get them. Replacement carbide tips are $3.00 each + $10.00 for the sharpening. It might be a judgment call if the blades are almost worn out. I'll call and let you know.
New 12"x 100 tooth blades are $114.00 each.
 
Got my freshly sharpened blades on today. I love the new set I purchased from Quinn so much I almost hated to change over to some of my older blades.

The newly manufactured blades I bought from Quinn are so well balanced and have no run out like my others. The 5/8" bore is actually that size and not a plugged 1" which is most likely why they are so well balanced. I highly recommend that while framers are sending blades for sharpening if you are considering a new set of blades have them packed in with the sharpened blades to save shipping. I bought the 80 tooth on Bills recommendation a couple months ago and like them better than my 90 tooth and 100 tooth. They cut big bulky moulding like a dream and leave perfect cuts on smooth black gessoed mouldings which I hate cutting.
 
I put a newly sharpened set of knives by Quinn on my Jyden - what a difference an angle can make. Quinn had to re-cut a improper angle put on the knives by the sharpening company I previously used. I noticed instantly that this sharpening is better and my mitres are clean and matching perfectly again. Thank you Quinn, I shipped you 3 more sets of knives - hope you can work your magic on them too.

Well, the set of blades I bought from Quinn cut flawlessly and lasted twice as long as my other blades. I ordered 3 more sets and couldn't be happier. Thanks!!
 
I was going to bring this back to the top since the offer is good till June 30. I'm planning to get 2 more shipments cycled through by that time.
 
I put my first set of new Quinn blades on my double-mitre saw this week. Also sent them an older set for sharpening, which is probably on its way back to me now. We'll see how they do. :)

We sent out a blade for sharpening on Friday and it's likely you received it today. If it qualifies, we appreciate it. If it doesn't, no problem. We'll continue to send them your way as needed.

I put my blades on yesterday and they are cutting perfect.thanks guys theres nothing better than cutting that first frame on a newly sharpened set of blades.:thumbsup:

how about us little guys across the border? does that deal apply?
 
Just got the second set of blades you sold me installed and sit the first set to you for sharpening. The blades you sell are a million times better than the ones my previous saw blade guy sold. You also get them considerably sharper than he did. I had someone laugh at me the other day when I put the new blades on and cut something and said that I doubt there are many things better than fresh blades lol.
 
Ok, I wasn't going to say anything just yet, but...

I've been using the brand new Quinn blades that I bought a month ago for the last 3 weeks. They've been cutting very well, with very little chipping on the frames even as they have worn. But, I was thinking to myself, "I shouldn't post anything here yet, maybe it's just my imagination that they are better than my other blades."

However, today one of my employees came to me, on her own, and said that my new blades are doing a fantastic job and she loves them and that they are so much better than the other ones.

I told her I just took them off last night so I can ship them next Monday back to Quinn for a sharpening, and I put on my first set of Quinn-sharpened non-Quinn blades. We'll see how those do too, but the Quinn blades did very well in their first run.

New SHARP Blades are up there though...
 
Packed up 2 pairs to be shipped Monday. I'm going to spend a half day cutting ready mades on Fathers Day to finish dulling another set. I'll be cutting as many ready mades as I can next week to get another pair ready for sharpening so I can get one more shipment cycled through before the special ends.

I have one set of blades that will return sharpened sold to a local framer so I can put the money toward buying another pair of new Quinn blades with my final sharpening order. I love the new blades I bought from Quinn and will be replacing all of my existing sets with new Quinn blades before the fall season. Great special Bill and thanks again. You guys are responsible for improving the miters on frames all over the country.
 
Talk about incredible service, Quinn received my blades today and since I keep my credit card on file with them I see they have already shipped them back out. Now for those that think they might be rushing things and not taking the time to get it right just click on the banner below this post. They have a video of the equipment they use to sharpen the blades on their website. This offer ends June 30th so there is still time to get in on the deal.

Just got my sharpened blades back from Quinn. They sent them back out the same day they arrived.

Any of those that have net sent them out for the special should get them shiiped out since the Grumble 20/10 Special is coming to a close the end of the month.

Just write Grumble 20/10 Special on the package.
 
If I ship em out MOnday will I still be able to get the special? I know its still June but they might not get ther till the first.
