A buisness owner is looking for an inexpensive way to frame 2 posters, back to back, to be displayed in her front window. I am thinking I will use acrylic w/o a frame. Is it easy to drill? What can I use to bolt the 2 pieces together? How could it be hung? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If you are talking 2 posters...I'd mount them on both sides of some substrate. I'd even use a UV form of glazing for the window facing side. I'd certainly put a frame around it.
This site may have a solution for you, too. If not...google "hanging 2 sided poster frame".

I have dry mounted two posters to opposite sides of 1/2" Gatorfoam, along with heat-activated PVC laminateing film, such as Bienfang Finish Guard.

I stock Gatorfoam in white and black, both of which look OK when the edges are neatly trimmed. For hanging, I suggest using long nails pressed into the foam on each side, with #2 stainless steel wires extending to the ceiling. This way, it is easy to hang it straight and level.

If fading of the posters is an issue, I suggest buying multiple copies and replacing them as needed. That would probably be cheaper than buying more-elaborate framing. A frame with UV-blocking glass or acrylic would probably slow the damage from light, but would not stop it.

We can do a two sided acrylic sandwich frame that can be hung in the window and viewed from both sides. If we can help give us a call.
