This hangs in my bedroom. I matted it because I didn't want any TV border to show, the close up pic shows that I removed the board but not the fabric in front of the speaker so the sound would not be muffled. and finally a little dancing with the stars just to show you what it looks like turned on.

did you leave a opening for the remote sensor?

I was planning on an opening for the remote but we recently got Dish network with a UHF remote that is actually tied to a receiver that is in the basement, no hole needed. Offset clips and a 1/2 inch mighty core built up around the edge of the screen.

Dave,
If you get tired of seeing the shadow of the speaker hole.... pop it apart and secure a strip of neutral white or off-white antique satin to the back of the mat. It would have been better to double-wrap, but the "retro-bit" will only show a very slight shadow line of the mat thickness.

Great looking job.

Beautiful frame-- what moulding is that?
 Rick

Isn't it a Max? I sell that series all the time. Sold 3 today. Great colors also, and available in a1/2 inch version as well. The reds, blues, greens and yellows are muted and a bit rustic so they go with many types of art. Also a great price. Yours might be something else but it looks like the Max to me.

Yeah that does kind of look like one of their Havana mouldings, doesn't it? I never did get that series. Sounds like perhaps I should.
