Congratulations to all. While it's true the economy is in a down period, those of you who had the brains and the courage were able to take advantage of low rents, flexible landlords and terrific equipment deals. You also started out with a lean operation while many old and established businesses are burdened by high operating costs.
Another advantage you've enjoyed is the release of customers to the marketplace by failed businesses. Previously, it would have been more difficult to lure those customers because of the strong loyalty bond framing customers tend to have.
I see this is a great time to get started in framing, and other businesses too. You may have to tread water for a bit, but at least you'll be able to enjoy the benefits of a down economy at the same time you position yourself for future success.
Congratulations again to all who dared. You are the new generation of framers that will lead our industry forward.
