I have a customer that shipped me an original oil painting that can’t be gallery wrapped due to the signature. He wants it put in a float frame. Has anyone ever done that with a canvas that has the raw edges showing on the side of the stretcher bars? Thanks for any advice!
Have a 44 x 60" canvas stretched on non-square stretcher bars. Already glued and screwed into floater frame, which forced the canvas square. Canvas buckled and warped. Any way to flatten it without taking the whole thing apart?
Customer brought in a canvas piece of artwork his wife made. His only request is no glass. (which I think is smart anyways considering how large it is). Dimensions approximately 31" x 62"
The canvas was left folded up in their car and so is currently rather crinkly and I would iron/steam it...
Anyone have a good solution for cutting canvas corners in a production environment? We may have a very large order coming in (fingers crossed) for gallery-wrapped canvas prints, and having our crew trim each one with scissors seems risky... we don't want to lose any prints to "operator error."...

Our South Florida crowd is nutty for abstracts these days...and mostly BIG ones at that. We are looking for sources of originals and giclee reproductions to market in our location. Any artist/company that might have a printed catalog/samples would be optimal, as we can't afford to carry much...
