What happened to our surveys? I thought they were quite beneficial!!

Everyone seemed to lose interest, so I stopped doing them. The yearly technology poll is the only one I have still been doing, every November.

I was thinking the same not too long ago. I always enjoyed them. Maybe we should have a survey to see if we want to surveys back???

That is, if you would still want to do them Mike....I know how hard it was to come up with something every month.

I was running out of ideas :) Some of the old ones could be recycled, though, with a THEN AND NOW comparison at the end.

    That would be pretty cool!

    Here is one possible question...

Have you diversified your buiness in the last 2 years or 5 years?

Added printing? Photo Resto in-house? Photo Resto subbed out? etc...

I like the 'now and then' idea, Mike!!!!

It would also be interesting to see how many 'one person' shops there are now, compared to way back.

How many hours open. Which day closed. Especially now some of us are feeling the pressure more than ever; seems more people are closing on Mondays for instance.

I remember the one about full payment up front/50% deposit. I am wondering if that has changed in the past year/2 years. Especially now that customers are sitting more on their money than ever.

Hope to see the surveys back!

I would like to see them back if possible. Does it have to be set up by an admin only?

The ones on the main forum do, but anyone can make surveys (polls) in this forum. When you start a new post in this forum, it should be an option down near the bottom. (after the first SUBMIT button, it should say POST A POLL)

How about a survey that asks if people will participate in a survey? Sorry don't know how to type in green

    POST A POLL ??

I don't see the POST A POLL button.

Could you post a screen shot or further instructions for a selectively blinded grumbler.

    thanks

Some folks don't see it, and I don't know what the rules are that allow it to appear. I see that you have under 50 posts, and that might be a factor. Only framer knows, and has access to see where those settings are in the software.

If you want to email it to me, i can add it for you. Just set up the post first, with instructions for people who will be taking the survey. Then I can attach the survey to it. (yes/no or multiple choice with a single question) I'll also need to know if they are allowed only one answer, or many.

Indeed, what happened to our YEARLY TECHNOLOGY surveys??? They could be a good illustration to the trade movement forward into the 21st century, or the state of stagnation.
