I have the following framing items for sale as a lot. Pickup location will be in Manassas, Virginia. You will need to take everything at the same time. Won't separate. Won’t ship.

Before my father passed, he had a hobby framing shop in our basement. He never really made any money and he probably only made a couple of hundred frames. Most of the items are like new unless otherwise noted, and have been sitting unused for 9 years.

You could easily set this up and start framing. I am pricing it for the lot. It will include consumables, whatever moulding he has left over, and whatever mat board and glass is there (I don’t expect there is that much there and I don’t verify that it is usable or desirable). Does not include the few items he framed, such as mirrors etc, that happen to be hanging around.

I framed a couple of items in the shop and everything works great.

Here is an approximate list so you know what you are getting.

Dewalt Chop Saw DW703 (like new)
Phaedra Frame Scale and Table for saw (like new)
Chronomat Mat Cutter 60 inch (I think, check picture) (barely used)
    Fletcher Fillet Chopper (barely used)
    Cassese CS 79 (barely used)
Craftsman Rolling Tool Box - that holds framing tools (great condition)
Misc Framing Hand Tools (all are like new)
    Pinners
    Seal Masterpiece 210M (barely used)
4 Framing Tables, 2 with carpet on top. made with 2x4s and lag screws. If I had space, I’d keep them as they are nice, sturdy, and functional).
Wall Mounted Materials cutter - don’t know brand. it is old and he never had it mounted on our wall - not sure why. He got it used and never used it. Have no idea where he got it or if it has the cutter and all the pieces. I'd assume it does not work and needs repair so you are pleasantly surprised if it does. This is the only piece of equipment I don't know anything about.)
2’x4’ mat board shelf angled vertical
4x4 metal bin for pieces of frame stock
72inch tall 4x4 mat board shelf
(I don’t have the exact measurements on any of the shelves. I’m guessing. These look like they are some sort of shelves intended for framing or something similar).
    brown paper holder
Whatever frame rails, mat board, glass, is hanging around. Again assume limited quantities and be pleasantly surprised if you get something good.

I expect you could set this up, add a few things to it, and be making frames immediately with little other capital outlay (other than materials), and time.

Buyer responsible for packing and loading and transport in Manassas, VA area.

$4,000 cash for all of it.

    I'm interested in:

Dewalt Chop Saw DW703 (like new)
Phaedra Frame Scale and Table for saw (like new)
Chronomat Mat Cutter 60 inch (I think, check picture) (barely used)
    Fletcher Fillet Chopper (barely used)

Already have a laminator for mounting and underpinner, which looks like you may have a buyer for earlier in thread. I'm possibly interested in some of the misc tools and other odds and ends. Are you willing to consider parting out at this point?

    Mike

I wish I could. I'm 4.5 hours from the equipment, so at this point parting it out isn't going to work. I really need to sell it, drive there, and move it all in one day.

If it doesn't sell as a whole lot, I guess that will be an option down the road. I'm not there yet, though.

    Thanks for checking. Sorry.

Scott - are you still interested in the underpinner? If I were to purchase lot, I could palletize and facilitate LTL (less than truckload) shipment to you at cost. JrFramer: I am coming to College Park this weekend from Charlotte, NC for a job I do once each year. Sounds as though you're able to wait it out a while longer, but this is the only weekend that I'd be at all interested and/or available. If you'd like to try to put something together, give me a shout: 404-384-8020.

    Mike,
It doesn't *need* to go immediately, but if it does that would be good, too.
PM me me about it if you hear from Scott. I think I/we can be available at some point as long as I have some lead time.
