    Moulding widths have grown through the years, but from the reflection in the glass.....your beard remains the same.:)

    first 20 years they had it in civil war man cave in 2nd floor room.
    7 years ago they moved and put it in basement finished room on an outside wall......No windows in this room. They said they may have gone down maybe once ofr twice a year since they moved. I explained the dark and dampness. They concurred That the humidity was a little

    I couldn't resist....
    I realize now you were talking about mold and not moulding. I don't get out much.......
    Can the piece be cleaned and repaired?

    My mistake in the spelling ...what was I thinking?
    We are working/researching the mold solution now....
    The mold is bad mostly on the top of the tassles and a few spots here and there.
    Strange no spots on the silk scarf
