And just one more to get the ball rolling:

It is a vintage fruit crate label.

I think you can see the frame and matting pretty well in the pix.

Again: Let's try to get something going here.

If you have pix to post, you can e-mail them to me or Ron.

Or you can use snail mail of a color photo-copy to Ron or I. (don't send the original!)

thanx,

Marc, I'd love to do more here, but perhaps you've seen my posts on the Tech forum or "Refresh" on the main forum. I can't see any posts here unless I get to them from the main page. So unless it's the newest post, I can't see it or respond.

Any ideas of how to "fix it"?

Betty

PS I love antique labels etc. for framing.

Betty, we have the same problem, but after exploring the forum a bit I discovered that the newest posts are scattered in amongst the older posts. They are there, you just have to hunt for them.

Alright -- I'm bringing this up to the top as it never got critiqued.

It looks to me like this was done some years ago--say, mid 80's? It is far to much blue for my 2002 taste. The proportions and mat shape are terrific.

I tend to go with more faded or dirty looking colors with these old labels for the main color even when they seem to have bright colors in them.
