We use the wizard mat cutter. It always hacks up the board behind the mat we are cutting. Does anyone else have this problem? It is a pain in the ***#@^& to change it and we are having trouble getting a good price on the oversize matboard.

Perhaps your blade is set too deep? I change the blade depth setting depending on whether I am cutting a regular mat or fabric.
It's that little screw that you turn with a Phillips-head.

I keep one 40 x 60 mat on the cutter. On top of that goes a second 32 x 40 sheet of flaw board since most of the mats I cut are not oversized.
