Print Search

I am searching for the print "The Kramer". It is the "portrait of Kramer from Sienfeld. I am able to find the print, but I need the one that has "The Kramer" printed at the top and on the bottom, there is a printed saying that says something about being so ugly you just can't stop looking at me. I have tried several internet locations including Liebermans with no luck.

Anybody that can help me out?

that quote. What about getting the poster
without the words and incorporating the
quote some other way?

Bogframe, That is the poster, but it doesn't have the wording.

I have the print, but someone has seriously created a big problem for me. I ordered the one from Image Consious before I realized there was a difference in the prints. I was all set to put it together and someone pointed it out to me. :(

So, is she gone yet? ;) I thought that would be an easy print for you to find. Did you try eBay at all?

As someone who has sold literally hundreds of that print framed and even more unframed, I can tell you that I have never seen that print with any wording on it. If someone says they have seen it in print form with the wording I am sure it was an illegal copy.

I have a copy of this print with the wording on it. After drymounting it, it was damaged while being trimmed. That is why I am looking for it with the words. I am trying to contact the client because my search seems fruitless at this point.

Candy, If you do have the print and it is a LEGAL copy, it should have the publisher name at the bottom in fine print, I doubt it has it.

Since you have searched all of the regular sources of art and can't find it, why not call George at Image Conscious, he is the owner of IC and sells many of that print without words. He is also the VP of the Art Coalition who goes after people who violate art copyrights, I am sure he would be interested in talking to you.

Sorry to sound harsh but it sure seems like you have something that is not supposed to be.

I have located a copy of the print. I found it on Amazon.com. There are 3 or 4 different sellers there. It does have a publisher name on the bottom from Australia. It may even have a phone number. I will write the info down.

However, I just may call George at IC anyway. I was pulled into copyright issues because I purchased a sewing machine. Because of that experience, I probably know more about copyright laws than most Lawyers.
