Shelf life for Colormount?

I was recently given a nearly-full roll of Colormount that has "been around for awhile". Probably several years from the looks of it, although it's in good shape and still protected in the box.

Does Colormount tissue lose it's effectiveness after awhile? Does it ever get "too old" to use?

Don't know about Colormount, as I have never used it. I do know that Fusion like products and TM1-MT 5 like and UMS mounting tissues (Super Mount and Clear bond 2000) seem to last forever. PMA on the is another story, with time and temperature abuse making it have a shorter shelf live. Try a test run to be sure.
