Credit Card Swiper + New Time

If your credit card swiper doesn't show the correct DST / summer time, you can press the Initialize button and that should do it.

PS: I use a Hypercom terminal, other brands may have a similar but differently named button.

That forces a dial-in to the host computer, to download the newest programming and to set the clock.

Here are instructions for changing an Omni3750 terminal:

Push F2 & F4 at the same time
enter password
F3 clock
backspace out curent hour
enter military time hour ( DST)
press enter:icon9:
