I submitted this yesterday but either it disappeared or I disremember(& cant refind) which piece/thread I put it into, so here it is again...

2-3 mos ago I a TV glass info flyer via USA Wholsale, extolling the vitures of/extra profits to be had from museum glass...I'm already sold on the stuff,
so I put flyer aside for another day. I just got LSS and have started trying to use/understand it and decided to bump the prices together to see results---well lo & behold, the pricing can be VERY different! EG, 26x36 in the flyer has a 'retail' price of 118.11 and the POS has it at 137.76-a dif of $19.65! except for 8x10, all the LSS pricing is noticably higher. anyone have an idea as to what gives???
LSS is vanilla cost w/1.000 markup.. yes they are both 'suggested' pricings and THAT may be a part of the delima, but it IS strange.....any ideas out there?????

OK Bill, I am following your signature line and trying to learn something new today.

Who/what is "LSS"?? I have used Tru-Vue, Denglas, and American Glass but I don't recall ever seeing LSS glass.

So redden my face and show me the obvious.

My guess is Life Saver Software ...

We use to many acronyms around here, don't you agree?

ITA Dave. LOL

Bill, I don't have LSS but I would like to point out that it really doesn't matter what prices are preloaded in your software or on a flyer. You need to determine your price by your market and your own determined mark ups. I would not let TruVue tell you how much to sell their product for. Good luck!~

Not sure about LSS but my pos gives you the option on setting the prices based on united inch, square inch or frame size etc. I'm sure you have those options. I check your cost again and factor in waste.
