I've been holding off purchasing a POS since late fall because I knew Wizard was coming out with one. I'm curious if anyone looked at it while they were in Vegas (I couldn't go), and what you thought of it.
Frameready is the system I'm looking hardest at. How it compares to Frameready would also be of interest to me.

Richard, I took the class, the system is not ready, they are working the bugs out. Looks easy to use, some advantages I can remember:
very easy readable screen
write order once, from camera or no camera and it sends the order to every
other station
pricing works on sliding scale or united inch
if you use the camera, a picture of finished order is printed on the work order
can't remember much else, notes still packed in suitcase, we just go home.
are you attending the Evergreen Picture Framers Guild festival on March 25th this year?
If I remember more I will contact you later,
Best to you,
Lynn

Richard,
The Northern Rockies spring educational event/tradeshow is in Bozeman on March 30/31/Apr1 according to the letter received last week. No mention of location, but CPF exam, CPF recert and tradeshow. Wizard is usually there too. I also heard that it will be a while before the software is released in beta form.

I took the class as well, and found it much easier to understand than the Fletcher cmc software class. I know this is comparing apples to oranges, but I felt that my staff and I could eventually get a grasp of the Integrated Framer Retail Management system (what a mouthful) when it comes out.
