I've noticed fairly recently that several posts that I have read mentioned showing pictures of work that the person did and other respondants have said 'nice job', etc.so they are obviously seeing the pictures, but I don't see any pictures.

Just now I read the thread about the baseball shadowbox and no images for me. Who let the soup nazi start running the board. Not even an 'x' where an image would be. However, on the thread about the baseball team patches and cutting mats around them, I do see the thumbnails and can click on them.

I went to 'User CP' and clicked 'edit options' and scrolled down to 'thread display options' and there is a check on 'show images'.

Does anyone know why I can't see the images?

If you're using MS Internet Explorer, go to tools, internet options, advanced and make sure that SHOW PICURES is checked there as well. It almost certainly is, but that's all I got right now.

I make it about 8:00 AM when you checked that thread.

It's Sunday morning.

Are you quite sure your lids were open?? :p

I occasionally have a pic or two that doesn't load on a page. Don't know why. Often when I reload the page it will appear.

I just started using Firefox after Christmas. Just checked the options and the box is checked for showing images. Just tried using Internet Explorer and no image showing on that thread in IE either. And the box is checked for showing images there, too. Tried reloading the page in both browsers and still no image. Hmmm...

BTW, yes, my eyes were open. I checked the grumble before I went to church this morning.

I tried those baseball thumbnails and was linked me to 'webshots' which was so slow to load that I didn't even bother. Usually the thumbnails open easily.

You are logged in, aren't you ?

I need to be logged in to view pics (attachment pics, embedded are fine) or Warped.
