Are we having one?
When? Where? Who's taking reservations? Do we need reservations? If so, here's one for me.
And Grumble "ribbons" for our name badges.....I know you had them in Atlanta, are we doing that at Vegas? How will we know who we are? I mean, each other...I mean - you know what I mean!
Chinese Dinner Limo....see Rob Markoff, right? Tuesday evening, right?
Sorry, I won't get so antsy next year, but this is my first....be gentle on us Trade Show Newbies!

Well, a few of us from the "chat room" are meeting on Sunday night at the Le Buffet in the Paris Hotel at 7:30. I am not currently planning on making reservations, but can if the numbers are huge.
We thought a buffet would be best so people can come later, mix an mingle, and stay or go easily. It's VERY casual kind of gathering. Anyone welcome to come.
This has NOTHING to do with Rob''s Chinese dinner.
I did some investigation and Le Buffet has been voted #1 buffet on the strip, so why not, eh?
see you all there!

As for ribbons, ask the people when you check in at registration. IF there are any, they will have them.

Holy Crepes! Is it that time already?
Sorry, I thought you were talking about Christmas.. whew.:help:
Now where were I ...... mmmmmm oh yeah.
Contact Rob Markoff to give him his $20, and you get the "L"-ticket, for the ride. BUT, you need to see him on Sunday or Monday because the seating is limo-ted.:D
Rob, I think I'm in for 17, but I'll get back to you.... but a definate two at least.

Great idea! Count me in for the Sunday Buffet AND for the Chinese dinner on Tuesday. Missed it last year--and I still don't know where to find Rob Markoff on the trade show floor!

You all understand that it does ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD whatever to say your going to the chinese dinner on this thread? I mean it's somewhat informational for the rest of us to know whether we want to avoid the night (just kidding!), but you HAVE TO SEE ROB the day before to get on the list!
As for the Buffet, currently it's come if you can, but I do want to know if the numbers will be large, because I'll make reservation.

I still don't know where to find Rob Markoff on the trade show floor!
Mary, Mary, Mary.... Rob doesn't drink that much..... you'll never find him on the floor.....
The man is a human dynamo... he starts moving about 8am untill they hog tie him and throw him in his hotel room at night.
Do you know what he looks like? trust me, he doesn't really blend in... but it can take some looking. He is teaching, so you might find him just before or just after his class... hand him a $20 and tell him it's not a tip....so get off the table and stop dancing.... :D

"Do you know what he looks like? trust me, he doesn't really blend in... "
Well-I had this blurry picture of a man in glasses and a beard, then I discovered it was really my husband in his Hemingway-lookalike mode....best advice I've gotten yet--I'll start looking UP instead of down! Thanks Baer!

Don't look for the raven hair friend... sometimes he hangs out with
a red head, sometimes a blond.... sometimes he wears a suit.
I have absolutely no idea where he got that blue outfit. I just can't imagine that it doesn't clash with his red pasties. :D

Hmmm-my guess is he isn't wearing the hat, either........

Count Jack and I in for dinner. We regretfully give up our limo seats (no crawling on the floor of the stretch limo for me) since we are driving from Seattle to Vegas and won't get in until Monday night. Have to pass on the buffet in Paris, darn, crepes are one of my favorites.
Can I get the name of the Chinese place and an address so the I can get directions and meet eveyone there?
This is gonna be so much fun, I can hardly wait. And we must play the fortune cookie game, again!
