Paul Frederick has gotten some replies to his personal appeal to Northern California framers. Just what we need, framers who care enough to do something in addition to sending in checks. Thanks Paul, somehow I knew you would lead the way, you always have.
I really think if we go into Atlanta with at least 600 checks, especially for the short time we've had to collect them, we can get the other 600 at the show the two days before the meeting with the rest of the industry on Sunday morning. It will take some work, but we can do it. DECOR is giving us space at the show for a booth. Is that great of them or what!!! We can't hand out flyers on the floor because no one can, but we have something even better, a booth. THANKS DECOR!!! Isn't it wonderful how the industry is already
supporting our efforts to keep standards? Incredible. Picture Framing Magazine, DECOR, PPFA, Nielsen Bainbridge, Linco, Raphaels, Art & Framing Council, FrameTek, have all stepped forward. Many more industry leaders,
quietly sent in checks because they believe in what FACTS is and can do for framers. We framers must do our parts. Each of us MUST hold up our end.
Framers have been writing to me asking how they can help. We need to man and woman the booth during the show. We need as many framers as possible schedule at least an hour to give out buttons and ribbons, collect subscriptions, hand out flyers explaining what FACTS is. Write to Sandi because she is keeping track of the schedule and tell her when you can be there. info@littlesebagogallery.com If we all help a little, no one will have to carry it all. She already has some volunteers so join them, it will
actually be fun and just think how much your helping yourself AND your industry.
Mike Baharry is going to set up the booth up for us in between taking classes on Thursday. Anyone who can help with that write to him.

We need signs. Anyone good at getting a BIG sign made that says FACTS, subscribe now!! Or whatever you think it should say. Write to me and let me
know, or Mike.
What hasn't been thought of? We need some entrance badges for people helping with the FACTS booth set up, I'll see how to accomplish that. We still need the basic flyer and we need it soon so it can get printed. Judith and Mike are right in the fact that it be simple. I do have one flyer that gives the business reasons to use FACTS, along with the web site address and a
description of what's on it. The PPFA is reprinting Alice's, article about the meeting in Chicago because it explains very well why we're here and what is happening to save FACTS and a flyer giving a synopsis of the FACTS standards. How many of these do we need? We still need a simple flyer with punch that describes who what why and where. Everything else we have to hand
out has lots of words.
Everyone who has subscribed to FACTS or will give a check at the show, go immediately to the FACTS booth to get a badge and ribbon so people will see
you walking around. WE MUST prove that we care!!
