Have just installed a carbide bit in my "Thumbnailer". Wow!!! Swims through the moulding like butter. Sorry I didn`t try this long ago. Have used the new 900 blade from C&H. For regular SRM, it works like a charm. For those of us that close a picture on three sides and happen to see a small fuzzball or sliver of something too far to reach, rather than take it back apart I`ve found a simple tool that works pretty well--a 12" shishkabob stick(skewer) with ATG tape wrapped around the tip. Carefully reach inside and touch the culprit. It sticks. Carefully withdraw it. Be careful to not touch the glass,as it will leave a blemish .

We use a similar tool...a stick (usually a plastic spacer strip with a de-cottoned Q-tip stuck on) with tape on the end to capture errant dust flecks on dark suede mats. I agree about keeping it from touching the glass.

A clean strip of suede matboard, maybe 1" wide x 12" long, makes a good tool for picking dust particles out from under glass during fitting, too. Just slip the suede matboard strip under the glass & swipe it over the dust. No adhesive to leave marks, but dust sticks to the suede (as we all know too well).
There are (or used to be) several kinds of vacuum devices made for the same purpose, mostly dsigned to work with compressed air. They work too.
Of course, the best way to avoid dust & debris on mats is to work in a hermetically-sealed shop...
