Scrap Matboard Shredder!!

Check this sight out! I always have to cut, chop, or tear scrap mat pieces to get rid of them. Now this company has come out with a "scrap matboard shredder"! It works great! It can shred a whole sheet of matboard and even cardboard in less than a minute.......and not in strips, but in timy pieces (about 3/16 x 3/16" pieces). go to the "New Techie Ideas" on that website and you will find the EverSharp mat board blade sharpener.

It is guaranteed to sharpen a 1200 or 1200SE blade no less than 40 times to razor sharpness! That means that, out of a box of 100 blades, you can get 4000 sharp blades and probably not have to buy another box of new blades for at least the next 10 or 15 years.

Our frame shop donates spare mat pieces to a local schools. the art teachers use them and the kids apparently fight over the "cool" pieces.....suedes and such. It works out nice, because someone from the school comes in to frame something and we send some mat scraps for the kids, and everyone is happy.
