hola fellow grumblers. theres been a battle going on between our mat sample caddie and me. i'm afraid the caddie has been winning. i'm looking for a caddie that will hold the complete sets of 4" tru vue and cresent matboards. is the 2 tiered caddie the only one available? i've also heard of one that is portable.
i've tried the archives..but didn't have any luck. any info would be greatly appreciated.
btw....its SOOO good to be back in grumble heaven.

Someone here--was it Roz??? I forget--was looking for the same thing and I senther pics of mine. Will take them today and send them to yu tonite. They're simple oak which have been varnished--I'm a varnish NUTCASE and use it instead of polyurethane altho poly would work as well too--and mount onto your wall.
If you want a caddy-type I can give you the number of a great finish carpenter in Atlanta who builds them in multitiers with rollers/wheels soyou can move them throughout the store. I opted for the wallmount jobbies to sage space.
So will get back to you tonite with pics ;)

And I see that you are ready, Grasshopper.
Remember, the wise Grumbler walks always with his head bowed, humble, like the dust. Leave the Shaolin forum and pepper The Grumble with your photos, "like fleas on a Kentucky framer."

Thanks!

took advantage of Jerry's kind offer and emailed the pics to him. If they don't get posted, please respond back and I can send them to y'all who want them. they're easy to build, look great varnised or polyurethaned and qyuite durable.

Jerry: many many thanks for posting. Someday, I'll take the time to learn how to do this. First pics show the 4" Bainbridge, the last show the little 3" [paper bainbridges we use as last resorts. Point is: the caddies will fit either dimension.
E-mail me,y'all, if you need more info.
