Is any one out there an expert on using a vacume press , EVA glue and standard fomecore for the mounting of posters, prints and photographs. I know it works, but I don't know how long it lasts etc.I'm wondering if the water in the glue will eventually bubble the paper off the foam or things like that. I know that I once used a spray on adhesive on fomecore with the effect that the Hydrocarbon effected the foam so as to be no use at all. Any Ideas Cheers Bob.

I have used 3-M's Vacu-mount and Spray 77 for the last two years I use the 77 for very heavy posters and vac-u-mount for everything else have had no problems so far.

I've been using Vac-u-Mount spray and vacuum presses for a few years ....... in a previous shop, there had been some returns with Vac-u-Mount (bubbling, lifting), but I feel most of the time it was due to sloppy spraying. Up until now, I have every reason to believe that, well-applied, with 4-5 minutes of pressure, spray adhesive will last as long as you like. I agree that 77 is needed for the heavier stuff.
