Forget the framing suppliers in the Boston, Providence area. Does anyone have a real wholesale source on large and custom sizes?
Needing greater than 40 x 60 to 48 x 72.
Thanks framer

Framer, I have done business with Woonsocket Glass in the past, and found that their quality and pricing were faily decent. I know you said no framing suppliers in the Providence area, but they really aren't framer-specific. You might wanna give them a call. 401-762-5953

Framer -
You might want to call Martell Sales & Service in Hyde, PA (Central Penna) (814)765-6557 or (800)424-6491. They do top quality glass & mirror work - They are a full-service glass shop (are tru-site distributors) - Ask for Greg or Mark - Tell them I sent you.

Our company FMI Corp. would be able to fill your needs. Our specialty is custom mirrors and glass for picture framers. We can furnish bevel widths of 1/2", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 2". Upon selecting your desired size and bevel width your order would be produced and shipped within 2 business days. For an idea on what to do with all the moulding drops and left-overs from previous jobs, please also visit our "Overruns" page at our website: www.fmiglassandmirror.com (http://www.fmiglassandmirror.com) We do not require a store front presence. However, the site is business to business only. Please call or email us to request the required password for the overruns page.

Sanabria,
I visited your website and also talked to one of your young ladies on the phone today. She was very helpful and quite pleasant and told me all about your shipping and special boxing for your mirrors.
I would be very comfortable in ordering mirrors from your company in the future because of the manner in which you package them for UPS shipment. That is a major concern for most of us who order glass products and gifts.
Your "over-runs" pricing is exceptional for smaller sized1/4"x1 1/4" to 2" bevelled mirrors also.

FMI was Great! Ordered on last Friday, recieved the mirrors today. A single mirror with crateing and shipping was about what I would have had to pay locally. I bought 8 mirrors as freight was the same. I figure I saved $300 over what I could do locally including freight.
They even called to make sure everything was perfect.

Framer,
I talked to them too, I was also impressed.
I am going to compare their price with what I get from the local mirror and plateglass company I deal with the next time I purchase.

Sanabria,
In your opinion:
Would it be feasible to ship custom beveled mirrors to me in California?

While we are talking about beveled mirrors... Does anyone need 30x40 or 20x24 mirrors?? I have 5 cases of the 30x40 with 50 per case and 1 case 0f 20x24 with 100 in the case. I want $600 per case plus shipping or $500 per case if you take all of them. You could do the ceiling over your bed the way you always wanted.

I received all 500 pounds of mirror from FMI with no breakage! Great quality mirror, wonderful customer service - THANK YOU Dana!! My biggest issue was taking delivery! My framing studio is in a residential area, no loading dock, can only accept a straight truck and a lift gate for deliveries of this nature. If this is you, be very specific on instructions, because the last thing you want to see is a 500 pound crate sitting at the end of a stone driveway!!
All went well, mirros look great, now I just need to know what kind of hardware to use to hang them! 4'x5' and 4'x7'.
