Just a reminder that this Monday, Feb 11, the KY/TN PPFA will beholding their regional meeting at Rechenbach's in Knoxville.

Guest speakers will be Vivian Kistler and Brian Wolf. Vivian will be addressing "framing Memorabilia" and Brian will be discussing decorative matting.

These speakers would cost about $100 each if you went to a tradeshow to hear them.

Here, we're charging $25 for PPFA members, and $50 for non-members, but that includes a one-year membership to PPFA.

Now we members can give you tons of reasons why to join. I can only name one right here: you're saving megabucks to hear two world-renown speakers in our industry.

To date, we have about 20 folks attending. Translated that means: if you live in the area, and you ain't comin', your competitor is!!!

I know this will be a very exciting show. Times are 6:30 p.m to 9:00 p.m. E=mail me and I'll call back to give you more detailed information. Leave me a phone and best time to cdall. I've got 800# access so don't mind calling you.

DO NOT call my store: only because Monday's my day off.

Hope to see abunch of you Tennesseans and south Kentuckians there.

I guess i could check with the PPFA but do they ever have meetings in Colorado? I honestly don't even know if there is a chapter here anymore? I'd sure as heck go! Brian Wolfe is a hero to me. I was at a trade show once and I was watching him cut mats. It blew me away because he was using his left hand. I am left handed and really struggled strengthening my right hand. It never occurred to me to push instead of drag. I honestly have never even tried it left handed but i sure thought it was cool. I got a kick out of everybody looking over his shoulder trying to figure out what he was doing. I've had to do that my whole life. That is why lefthanders are so creative!
