Hi all,
I have searched the archives and found numerous postings about Tyvek, but none telling me whether it is okay to drymount it.
Does anyone have any experience drymounting posters(maps) printed on Tyvek??
Thanks for your help,
Wendy

Do it all the time. Use Fusionmount and bake it for about 7 minutes

Just pay attention to how it is laying on the backing. Tyvek will scooch and crawl, and try to make wrinkles. Consider it a fabric, rather than a paper.

Thanks for the help.
In all of my 9 1/2 years of picture framing, I have not drymounted much. Now I am learning and know there are things you cannot mount. It is scarey to me! I did not know if Tyvek would turn black or not.
Thanks again,
Wendy

Pick up an express mail enevelope from the Post Office and experiment, not the paper one but the one that looks and feels thin is tyvek.

Yes to experimentation. The closer one can get
to the item to be worked on the better, but in
any case, this is exactly what one wants to do
when a new situation comes up.
