Ohio PPFA Meeting with Vivian Kistler

Vivian Kistler will speak at the Holiday Inn in Hudson, OH (Route 8 & the Turnpike) this Monday, April 1 at 7:30. Vivian will speak on "Framing Memorabilia". She will discuss designing the layout, stacking mouldings, attaching items and fitting. Examples she is bringing include a 2002 Olympic Torch, an assortment of wedding memorabilia, and a baseball jersey. There is a dinner at 6:30. Members and non-members are welcome. Members just pay more but they do receive a starter membership in PPFA. PPFA Members pay just $25 for dinner & the program or just $15 for the program only. Vivian Did a great presentation. As usual shared so many tips by the time I got home I had forgot half of them and still spent an hour telling my fellow employee the ones I did remember. To Top It off Brain Wolf was present and was answering questions after the meeting. I got to see my Studio Moulding Rep, Met with The Roma Rep., talked to Peter From Century Framing, Bob Mayfield from OvalART had books and videos for sale. Got a chance to Talk to Stephanie the new Chapter president(?), met a guy who buys glass by the pallet yes the pallet (now that is a bunch of glass), We also got a sneak preview of some of the content for Vivian's Decor column for ( I think June issue) all in all about 40+ members were there. Really good group I did get there a little late for dinner but heard that was even an adventure!! As a member I would like to thank all who put this meeting together I pick up a lot of good tips and information they did a fine job putting it together!!
