Consigned Art

How does everybody handle consigned Art received from Artists? What kind of paperwork do you ask for. Who is liable for the art if something happens? Does anybody have an agreement layout they like to share with me?

Be careful that you are not harangued into accepting artworks that do not sell and you end up as a storage house.

Your agreement needs a time limit, terms, and plan to return the artwork when the period is finished. Remember everything is negotiable including who covers the insurance.
