How have the Olympics affected the sales and the framing of those shops located in Salt Lake City and Park City??

I have read articles that say that SLC has not closed down since the opening ceremonies! Are there people who just stay up and shop and walk around the city all night?

Give us some input so we can imagine what that type of environment might be like. I am sure that there are other Grumblers who would love to hear about your experiences in "Olympic City".

Actually, Artlady, a lack of response was EXACTLY what I was looking for. If this thread was deluged with replies saying how swamped everyone in SLC was, I probably wouldn't have believed it.

It is absolutely amazing to see the amount of retail activity going on here! Shops located within walking distance of any venue have been packed from morning until night. I would suspect that there will be lots of people framing their Olympic tickets, pins and other memorabilia when they get home.
