Have a customer who needs songbird prints. Do you have any favorite suppliers?

There is a company called Mill Pond Press, out of Florida I think, that has a lot of wildlife and such prints. They may have some songbirds. However, you have to be a dealer of theirs to get prints directly or you have to go through a dealer. they do have a website, I'm not sure what it is, just search under Mill pond press.

Betty,

I work a lot with a local artist who does a lot of songbird prints. His name is Marcus Thomas and not only is he a very good artist, he is a quadralplegic and paints with his mouth. You can see some of his work at MarcusThomas.com. Check it out.

Hi betty,

Cathrine McClung is one of the very best songbird artists I have seen.

She sends me postcards of all her new releases and they are all under $100.00 retail. Her subtle background colors and attention to detail is remarkable.

I met her some years ago at some of the Michigan Wildlife art shows and she is a super nice lady and easy to deal with.

Here are 2 of her images if you want to check her art out.

(This one is darker than it should be. I got in a hurry, I guess

You might look in the Wild Wings catalog also. They have a number of artists who do songbirds well.

Good luck.

Tom, her work is beautiful! I called her, and she also has a web site. www.catherinemcclung.com (http://www.catherinemcclung.com) I think this will work great. Thanks to all for the wonderful suggestions. I and my customer thank you.

If you're looking for vintage you might try Michael Alden & accociates in New Orleans. They have an extensive inventory of Audubon, Gould, etc.
Good luck.
