I accidently posted this message in the tips forum:
A customer came in today with a painted piece of leather that she really wants to hang in the bathroom. I read some old postings about the mounting of leather, but what about the glass? Should you stretch it and leave it exposed or put glass on it which can then trap the humidity? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi FramerBill -

I don't know about the stretching part - not enough info to make any kind of guess. But if they want to hang it in the bathroom it will need to be in a sealed frame. Go to the search function and look at the following threads : Art in the Bathroom, Framed in the Bathroom, and Warm Fuzzies. Don't worry about the Tyvek digressions in those threads, focus on Jim Miller's and Hugh Phib's descriptions on how to seal framing packages using Marvelseal. Good luck.

I need information about framing items to hang in bathrooms also. I can't seem to locate the items mentioned above through the "search" feature. What am I missing here?
