I was surprised to find a rebate check sent to me from Larson. Did anyone receive one and what was the formula used to determine the amount of rebate. I understand it was for sales during November and December.

I too was surprised. I put it in with the bills and then realized it looked different. Not a lot for our small shop but an increase is appreciated I guess.

I got mine on Saturday. It was a reward for increased sales over the same period last year. A surprise when I received it.

We just received our check Saturday. Our Rep told us about the rebate program ahead of time, which helped us to sell as much LJ moulding as we could for the rebate. Win Win for everyone!

We rec'd ours on Thursday. We had received a notice about the rebate from our sales rep prior to Thanksgiving. Your sales rep is the one who determined your increases for chops and joins over last year's sales.
BTW, we have also begun receiving delivery to our door on Fridays as of the week before last! It's wonderful to cut out another expense (shipping charges)! My sales rep, Mike, has recently been named Sales Rep of the Year with LJ. In my book, he deserves it! :D

I got mine last Thursday. It was a total (though pleasant) surprise. I thought it was a bill too. :D

Hello everyone, I have been watching this group ever since I heard about it in Vegas and now have registered because I have a question about this Larson Rebate.
Can someone tell me how this program worked? I never heard anything about it until the first post here and I haven't been able to talk to my rep yet.
What is it based on? Did I have to sign up for it to get the rebate? How do i figure out what my rebate may be? Are these rebates big enough ($$) that it is worth looking into if I have not rec'd a check yet? Also it doesn't seem to be but I thought I would ask..is this a regional thing? I noticed a couple posts from the East Coast and nothing from the West.
This group seems to be very friendly and helpful, so I thank you in advance for your responses.

I'm glad you folks are getting "rebates" from LJ.
I've been trying to get a LJ rep into my store since last May!
I don't know how they sell anything, unless they're just living off of their established clients.
I'm just a small shop in the backwaters of Escondido, CA, population in the region a little over 200,000.

Will I not get a rebate if I was caught up in a tangled mess of leaving sales reps, new sales reps and a mess up in territories that caught me in a confusion over whose territory I was in??!!?? I haven't received one, and I know I increased substantially over last year, but considering the confusion, I'm probably SOL! On top of that, my rep was supposed to come on friday and I had to cancel due to the FLU! Now I'll never know when I'll get him back :( I'm told they come through once a quarter...
Who knows! A rebate check would be nice, it might offset the startup of my new Gallery (ha!ha!)
Thanks for listening!

Yeah, I had to ask Artlady if we had a LJ rep in our area. I ain't seen one of them fellers in years! And the more they ignore me, the less I am inclined to sell. So there.
But some of their molding has been selling like hotcakes lately (the purple mottled stuff!) so maybe I'll get a rebate afterall. But I ain't countin' my chickens until I see the whites of their eyes.....
