Are there any limited editions prints available up there in North America, whose images are also used on postcards?
Just want to know if that is done or is it a no-no?

I don't know about postcards, but back at Christmas, I was in the bookstore at the mall, and they had some Christmas cards with LE images on them.
As to whether this is a good idea or not, I have no idea. Personnally, I wouldn't want the limited edition print I bought to be on any other product. But, that is just me. And I know that some publishers don't agree and put images on all sorts of items.

Osgood,
I know of at least 3 artist that have their work out in multipul formats. Terry Redlin has his wore on just about anything that dosn't move as does Thomas kinkade, Charles Peterson has both L.E. prints and a line of blank greeting cards.
How a artist presents his work would appear to me to be a matter of pesonal integrity and commercialism.

Osgood,
Here in the land of commercialization almost anything goes!
Wild Wings uses postcards to promote their artists. Catherine McClung, one of the best song bird artists I have contact with, sends out post cards to advertise her new editions.
Hadley House, Somerset House, Mill Pond Press, Applejack, and many of the other major publishers have promoted their art/artists using post cards at one time or another.
I have seen postcard images used on gift items, clocks, small decorator framings, shadowboxes, inserts in the glass tops of lidded boxes, and I guess one's imagination is the main limitation for printing and using postcards.
