As always, you take stuff for granted. Our poor ole KC area got horribly whacked Wednesday by what they call the worst icestorm in its history. Just about half the metro was/is without power, and we received damage to up to 60%-plus of the trees. We were without electricity only two days, but others may be cold a week. Time to check up on all the other metro framers! Nature wins again.

On the way from Kansas to New York, it went through Indiana (northern). This is one time that you didn't have to share ! (just kidding!) What a mess !!!

MM,
My shop was out of power on Thursday. So like any good framer I put a sign on the door that said "Closed due to lack of power, have a nice day".
Home was also out for 24 hrs. just long enough to start to get uncomfortable.
I had to go in today for a little while to catch up the lost day. Haven't worked a Sunday in over a year!
Just a side note: ONLY ONE MORE CHEMO TREATMENT LEFT!!!!

Yippee, Jim! I think of you often and include you in all our prayers. I hope you had a warm spot for your 24 hours. The forced hiatus from work was--for once--not something I relished.
Keep us all informed......... smile.gif
