I am going to purchase something to cut molding both metal and wood. Not a lot of volume maybe 20 to 30 a week. Set up in my basement. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should purchase ?

Get yourself a good power miter saw, ten or twelve inch blades. Plan on spending more on the blades than on the saw, around $200.00 each. Get or build a good table with clamps. You can purchase an excellent metal blade from CTD machines in Los Angeles. A metal blade will cut wood, a wood blade will not cut metal. Remember, when using a one blade cut off saw, you can not hand hold it, your miters will be open on the top. You MUST clamp what your cutting.
