Falcon East – CMC
I called Falcon East the other day to ask if they had a fabric that Harvey had out of stock.
Very friendly and helpful, they suggested a replacement and were willing to send a 12” piece, which was all I needed. It matched very well and was here the next day. Thanks Falcon!
They continued to tell me that they had a CMC (Zund) and were doing custom mats (Fabric covered and regular). After my experience with Fletcher online and other companies that said they did custom design, I quizzed them as to their capabilities and my potential needs. They had all the right answers. Falcon said they could use clip-art, Corel Draw and even trace designs by hand, you can fax a design to them, and they had a CD to create your own designs. Most important to me, was the fact that they would do one piece and were willing to try and accommodate my own design. I guess, as usual, a machine is only as good as its operator. Margaret is the one to talk to about their CMC capabilities.
They also sent me a great sample box of some really cool CMC fabric cover mats – ya gotta see em!
Has anybody used them or have other suggestions?
I saw Wally’s post, but thought I would ask the question again.
