I really didn't think December would be a very good month. The election woes, threats of "recession" buyer woes at the Malls, etc... But December turned out to be a great month ending a great year for us. The Holiday rush didn't hit us til the week just before x-mas and we were ready.
I hope the season was good for all fellow framers. Best wishes for the New Year!

Our December, while not as phenomenal as last year, was still a great month and the year closed out very well, if a hair less than the year before. A lot of work to be picked up is rolling over into this year... it's done, but still here. http://www.thegrumble.com/framer/ubbs/frown.gif
We're still way over the figures we did two years ago, so I'm happy for now, but want to do even better next year! I guess I mean this year.

Our December wound up being the best one ever; and the same is true for the year. Sales are up about 12%. Like Greg the majority of business came the week before Christmas. Nearly killed us but we were ready and finished on the 22nd for pickups only on the 23rd. I closed from the 23rd to Jan. 2 but don't feel like my batteries recharged enough. For me and my staff I think it's important to relax and get those creative juices flowing again. Of course we hit the ground running yesterday but I'm not complaining.

Up 22% in Dec. Customer traffic was down but sales were up as people spent WAY more on each piece... go figure.
