Does anyone have any experience with a Cassese CS93? It's an air operated table model. I haven't been able to get any info on this model. Thanks.

Have you tried the Cassese website cassese.com (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/cassese/). They have a tech support that might be able to send you a manual. Or you might check Larson-Juhl's tech support, 1-800-922-7548, if they ever sold that model they should have some info on it. Good luck!

Thanks Frank - I started at the Cassese website - no info on that model. I have seen this machine in person, but I was mostly looking for any personal experience with the machine from the forum. There was a discussion recently here or someplace else about the CS89 and some people just blasted it. A few liked it - It sounded like more than just a matter of preference. I wouldn't buy that model after reading the posts.

Sorry...I thought maybe you inherited or bought a nailer with no manuals or something. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a CS93. Is it a new model or old? I noticed there is a CS79 now, a manual model in the $600 range. I wonder how it compares with the old CS88. It could be a great deal for a small shop, photographer or woodworker. Or maybe just buy 6 of those instead of one pnuematic model. ;)
I'm afraid I'm one of those who bashed the CS89. Although I think it would be OK if you were only doing 10-15 frames a week, it is just not up to any kind of real production. Cassese just changed their line of v-nailers so I have no idea what to recommend anymore. I guess I'm behind the times again.
I was wondering if anybody has seen or used the CTD line of v-nailers. They have one that has multiple "fingers" on the upper clamp to hold the moulding down. Looks like a great idea if it works.
