I am getting ready to mount two WW II medals with a certificate for a veteran. One of them is a pin medal and I am planning to attach it with monofilament through the back of the mat. The other however is a coin type medal about 2 inches in diameter. If the archives weren't down I wouldn't be bothering you guys but since they are I would like information on the source for the mylar sheets or the fabric that's almost invisible to mount this coin type medal.

Thanks in Advance!!!

Mount the medals with Mylar-D. It is available from all of the archival material suppliers -- Light Impressions, Gaylord, University Products, etc. Also, United Mfrs. Suppliers has the best deal on rolls of it.

To stick it to itself and the mount board, you'll need a roll of 3M #889 double-sided tape, and a roll of #888, too.

If you need any other help, let me know.
