Have recently sold my 89. The new owner is having trouble with the table not being large enough to handle larger frames. The suggestion of having a table as an outfeed support wouldn`t work since the area where he is framing is very uneven. Have any of you come up with any kind of support table that maybe he could add to the 89. I`ve been racking my brain and came up with the brilliant idea that I`m sure some of you surely have a better one than anything I could come up with. Any suggestions? I feel like I sold him a pig in a poke. I also realize that he got a great deal and a great machine. Thanks for your help. Bud Cole budipenn@fuse.net smile.gif

Try building a low platform for both the 89 and a support table.

When I asked what others used as a support table, I got a great suggestion - and I am embarressed to say I can't remember who it was by, but I followed it with some modifications. I made a 15" square column out of foamcore. Four sides as tall as the nailer, and a top and bottom that fit inside the square. For an uneven surface, I would make it a tad shorter than the top of the machine, and put three evenly space feet on the bottom, instead of four, so it doesn't rock on the uneven floor.
