Does any one know the proper way to
handle vintage posters that have been
mounted in some fashion to canvas
backing? I have seen a few of these and
have one in the shop to frame now. The
poster itself is about 33" x 43" with
about 1 1/2" of canvas exposed on the
edge. I plan to treat it like a piece of
paper art with hinges and matting and
perhaps sewing the extra canvas to the
mounting board, but maybe someone has a
better idea. Any suggestions would be
appriciated. Thanks.
