Shop Rate Poll

Mike made a grate suggestion about polling for shop rates.

This will be a true blind poll. Nobody even me will see the results until the poll closes.

1. What is the shop rate for regular a employee?
2. What is the shop rate for myself, owner only shop, or special employee?
3. What is my overtime/rush shop rate for an employee?
4. What is my overtime/rush shop rate for myself or special employee.
5. I quote a flat rate for ALL special work. T F

Less works alone and voted as you asked, but would charge the same rate across the board.

i work with my boss and we charge the same as less. i do things like paint and stain frames,sometimes cosmetics tocuh ups of artwork, she does the artwork in most cases. she does not differentiate...that makes me feel warm and fussy.

I think you should have had more choices than below $20 for wages. Even our employer does not take that much for wages. Perhaps it is our area in the country.

Susan, I think that is the shop rate, not a pay rate. Shop rate is what the shop must take in per hour to stay in business (and make a profit.)
