I thought it best to start a poll on pricing. This way nobody needs to know what you really charge. As a group will can see the picture.

This poll will be for regular clear glass

8 x 10
16 x 20
24 x 36
36 x 48

Framer,

I would simply add price ranges....

1.01 - 1.50

1.51 - 2.00

and so on.

I like these too.

I assumed also that it was 36 x 48 and not 26 x 48

i find some fo the priceing to be odd, how can shops differ by $12.oo or more in the larger catagory?
There are some jumps in the results...hmm don't know what to say about that.
maybe we need to have more of these polls???they give interesting results.

Hi Dennis-I track pricing and this pattern pretty much follows the norm. What does that tell you about setting your own prices an how important is it to know this type of information?

Once you know this type of data, what would you do with it?

This is the stuff of solid retailing and is very important.

I hope framer continues these type polls. They can be a goldmine of data, and if used effectively can be extremely profitable.

only one comment: we don't use regular glass anymore. How about one using conservation??? Same parameters. Ditto with paper mats. Don't use them either.

Yes there is an error on the 26 x 48 is was suppose to be 36 x 48. I will throw out that size when I publish the results.

I always find that I am on the low side on prices. I for one will be slowly raising my retail prices until I am at least in the "middle of the road".

I love these heads up "apple to apple" comparison polls.

Well, It is nice to know that I am in the majority, and maybe even slightly higher. I was worried that I might be running low, and I still may markup a little further.
