We're in a new Millenium, where handicraft work can be done by computers. Which do YOU use?

Seth i already voted but then I realized I wasn't sure of your intent. Did you mean for all cutting or for intraciate cuts. But then I realized there should be a third selection. BOTH!
I view the CMC as just another tool and I use it seperately as i do regular cutters but I also use them togeteher.

WOW!!! I was not aware that so many people had CMC's. Now I know that I am behind the times.
I guess that I will have to find a way to afford the CMC after all. (Either that, or Ron will have to cut all my odd mat openings.)

I'd have to go aloong with Buddy--I use my CMC every day, but I haven't retired the 2100. My new employees also have to learn to cut manually before they get to learn the cmc. What would we do without electricity?

With the deal that Wizard offers, I can think of no reason for a shop to think that they can not afford a CMC. On Wizards Jr. rental program, it only costs $225.00 per month or $7.50 per day, to have one in your shop. That comes out to the cost of a decent lunch for one person per day, or a mediocer lunch for two people. There are no repair costs to figure into your budget with a Wizard rental. Think about it.

We too use both manual and CMC particularly since Wizard HATES to cut 8-ply and when I lower the blade I can't seem to get itreset properly to cut normal 4- and 6-ply. Just LOVE doing multiple openings in an 8-ply by hand.
