Many of us have additions to framing that generate extra revenues for our organizations.

Perhaps we could share some statistics.

Paulette,

A good question and of interest....related would have been a second question asking "What percentage do Art sales make of your Gross Sales?".

Of interest is that your one group is LE or Open Edition Photo Offset (Poster Art), where you essentially put $150 - $375 Limited Edition prints (Yes, I know that they are really signed and number reproductions smile.gif but regardless they are in the same group as $15.00 Portal Publications posters ??? Are you making a statement, or did you forget to include a distinct category of Open edition reproductions?

Hi John,

I do not mean to offend, but a photo offset is a photo offset. Some are more valuable and collectible but there are only three art markets Original Canvases, fine art (original graphics, etchings, serigraphs, aquatints, mezzotints, monoprints, etc) on paper and photo offsets.

Which of the three markets would you put them in? I am not looking at price only medium. These questions were designed from my need to discover what art sales diversities there are in this group.

In our store, not only do we sell the art work (sometimes), but we sell the supplies to the artists.

Watercolor is big in our area right now.
