When this store was setting up it was suggested by an outside source to start with certain mouldings for in stock purposes. One particuliar moulding is Larson Juhl 80063. I have been asked by the owner to display in some way to try to sell. Can any of you offer a good print for this moulding? What looks the best in your opinion......

Ruth, either that is a propriatory moulding only to TGFU, or you are missing a number.

I am not in the store now, so I don't know the moulding by the number. It sounds like the big gold value moulding that was part new store order. If that is the moulding that you are asking about, then I have yet to find anything that looks good in it. We framed the restroom mirror in it and I guess that looks OK.

It is from the Arqadia line. I have sold several boxes of that profile. It looks really good on Art Deco style pieces.

Jerry, you're right... and I think you're wrong.

She's a The Great Frame Up... and I'm thinking that their start-up mouldings don't include that Arquadia.

And if it's the one I'M thinking about... Liz is right... bathroom mirror.

I think it's frome the Nu Yaawwka line. Oy.

We have sold a lot of it in all 3 colors, silver, black and gold.

It is fairly easy to match the corners.

Measure a print with a mat larger on the bottom. Cut the frame and match the corners making the frame at least as big as the measurement you took before cutting the mat. You can then cut the mat with the top and sides equal with the bottom weighted , or make the sides equal, top a bit larger and bottom a bit larger than the top.

It is the Arqadia line by larson juhl. It is hidious! Wide and soooo gold. I thought mirrors would be the best. Mostly thanks to all of you for validating how difficult this moulding can be...

The number is correct.
2.75" gold--Arqadia.
Can you stack it with another value moulding?

This sounds like the one I use in my display windows lol. I ordered it strictly to "frame" my windows from the inside, and I also hang it outside below the windows as a sign frame, I just change the signs that go inside it. I don't think I have sold it on anything, but it sure does catch the attention of the cars that wiz by LOL

Its been the best use of marketing dollars since I opened! (Its scary GOLD)
