Hi Jim,
I'm interested !!! Do we have some idea of cost? Time line on any of these plans as yet, since the site didn't really give much info.
I'll keep checking.

The cost per frame shop will depend on the # of shops that are willing to commit!` Everyone needs to commit no later than july 15th if we don't get at least 10 shops willing to do 500.00 - 2000.00 I don't know if it would be worth doing so if you are interested speak up!~

Does it make you wonder sometimes about Great ideas? Always Wondering how to compete against the Chain stores, cut costs and increase business?~ But know one has the foresight to collaborate.

Much of the talk is about what kind of hack the framer down the street is and how great we are. Its no wonder there isn't any more collaberation than there is. Its a great idea though.
In a big city or metro area it would be neat for one shop on the E, W, S, and N to go in together and plug just those 4 shops (or something like that). It would be neat to see how it works out.

James Cook,
How has this progressed? If only two or three got together it would be a great program. I'd love to see the final spot.
Back in the late 1980's, I coordinated a similar effort between three shops that shared TV advertising. We actually did this twice, where each spot mentioned all three with logos at the end, and we shared the expesnses - 1/3 each (Green Bay - 30 miles north / Appleton - in the middle / Oshkosh - 30 miles south).
I'd be really interested to see who jumped on your idea and how it came together?
John
