After much research and contemplating, I finally created my blog.

WARNING: MANY OF YOU WILL NOT BE INTERESTED IN THE SUBJECT MATTER! TAKE NOTE, THE TITLE IS "PRAYERLOGUE".

But, that being said, the link is www.prayerlogue.blogspot.com (http://www.prayerlogue.blogspot.com) if you want to take a look.

This is, of course, for another personal side of my life, but I can see a use for a blog business-wise as well, and as I get braver, I may create one for that, too.

Blogging is growing both personally and for businesses. Sherpa Marketing www.marketingsherpa.com/ (http://www.marketingsherpa.com/) recently held their second annual "best marketing blog" contest. And in reading the entries, I saw that the biggest "winner" of all was "Blogspot" which is a blog hosting company.

Blogspot ( www.blogspot.com (http://www.blogspot.com) ) is owned by Google and offers free blog hosting. The vast majority of the entries in the contest used blogspot.

Blogs may be a fad, or they may be the next trend. (As I once said, a fad is only an adolescent trend!) In the 70's, I thought flea markets were fads - and look what they've become!

I could definately see some grumblers use blogs to great advantage. Mar, for instance with her personal interaction with her customers, and with the fundraiser. It may not be for you, but at least you need to know what a blog is.

Betty...

That is great. I love it... hope to have time to investigate these "blogs" more for personal and business.

I, for one, love your subject matter!!!

Betty, you are a gem!

I have signed up and started putting a few ideas together and will get something up next week. graemlins/icon21.gif

This just might be what I was missing in my marketing and public relations. I plan to post my press releases there and tell the newspapers to go there to get them, including photo files. This is much better then hard copy, or dumping the whole thing into an email.

And for my clients this becomes an electronic newsletter.

I'll post the link when I have enough to show.
