trying to determine fair pay rate for 2+ year employee, 5 years experience, CPF, lots of great experience--only employee, works full-time

First of all, a big warm WELCOME to the Grumble!
Hopefully you'll get some feedback on this, but keep in mind that what you're asking about is a very subjective topic that depends on many factors. (New York City vs Upstate NY vs Arizona rates, etc) The answer will likely be different for each of us. smile.gif

Here we'd pay about $14/hour and pray to the Framing Gods that they were worth it.

i have ten years experience and in the sf area have made 14 hr tops. i still think i am worth more than that. i just hope the midwest doesnt gyp me when i move

imaluma, be prepared, you may get the pay you want, howerver, generally speaking the pay rates in the midwest and south are much lower than the east and west coast, as is the cost of living.
