I would like to know a source for the threads that are recommended in this article. It said something about not using threads with a tight twist that are designed for sewing machines. I think this is a really good suggestion.

I'm at a loss for a moment as to where to get silk, linen, and cotton threads that would be adequate.

Once again, I'd like to see what conservators do. I guess their advice with something fragile would be to leave it in an acid free box!
